The Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) is the umbrella organisation of the 80 German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, which are the first point of contact for local companies in all matters relating to foreign trade. The DIHK represents the economic policy interests of the German economy vis-à-vis the Federal Government and abroad. Together with other partners, it is the sponsor of various regional initiatives of German business and participates in several associations that advise companies on foreign trade issues.

The Association for Latin America is a business network and information platform for those of the German business community that are interested in Latin America. The LAV is active nationwide as a specialist for consulting, reporting, representation of interests and meetings with decision-makers in the Latin American economy.
